Such as the Alkivision camera manual, Wall anchors, USB wires, mounting bracket, etc. Remove the plastic carefully from your camera and place it on a clean surface. Carefully, remove the protective cover from the camera lens. Insert the Alkivision batteries correctly.

- The battery will not work continuously 24*7 it needs to be changed from time to time. In a power outage, the camera will only record when human motions are detected.
- This camera only supports 2.4GHZ frequency. You can’t connect it to the 5GHZ band technology.
- Within 5-6 hours the camera battery will charge fully. The battery only supports DC5V 1A/2A socket.
- The camera supports event recording. The IP camera will not work when WI-Fi is disconnected and does not support offline recording.
- The Alkivision Security Camera is not compatible with browsers or PC S/W.
How to insert Alkvision Wireless Rechargeable batteries?
- Please Open the camera cover carefully from the left side.
- Insert batteries in the battery compartment. Make sure about negative(-) and Positive(+) terminal.
- Find the Micro USB port on your camera and insert a USB cable.
- It may take 5-6 hours to charge completely. Then take out the USB cable.
- Near to the USB card slot, there is a micro SD card slot also. You can use this to connect an external memory card and increase the storage capacity.
How to set up using the app?
Alkivision camera app setup is uncomplicated. Follow the given instructions step-by-step.
- First, open the play store or apple store on your mobile. Then, download the adorcam app and install it. To install the app directly scan the QR code. After successfully downloading, launch the app and create a new adorcam account if you don’t have one. Then, Turn on your camera.
- Alkivision wireless camera blinks red light while trying to connect. On the main page of app. Click add camera, on the next screen select your camera. Now connect select the Wi-Fi network which you also wish to connect. (please connect with 2.4GHZ band.)
- Proceed to the next step click to scan the QR code, available on the app reveals. Bring your phone near to the camera and scan. The confirmation sound of “click” comes out after being scanned successfully.
- The next page is prompted on your mobile screen, here you will also get information about the Wi-Fi network connection. Now, change the name of your camera.
- In the next step, please select a location where you are going to mount your camera. The Alkivision camera LED will start to blink blue frequently while setting the location. You need to allow permission on the app to access your camera
Alkivision Security Camera Outdoor Installation
To install the Alkivision camera outdoor you need some important things such as a screwdriver, drilling machine, plastic anchors, etc. So let’s go to mount the camera.
- Select a location where you mount the camera and drill three holes on the spot where you are going to install it.
- Now in the holes, put the plastic wall anchors. Then, insert the screws and position the mounting cover.
- Use a screwdriver and fix all the screws tightly. Please confirm the gap on the rear of the camera. Place camera viewing alignment and tight it. In this way, your camera will install easily. Why is Adorcam app not connecting to wifi?
- Adrocam app not working issue mainly arises due to weak internet connection or WI-Fi disconnected. Close the app and restart it.
- Ensure that your device will connect to the correct Wi-Fi network. Check the Username or Wi-Fi password are correct. Also, generate a new QR code and try to scan again.
- Please ensure the camera has full Wi-Fi connectivity. Move your wireless router near to the camera if possible and check.
- If still problem not fixed. Please reset Alkivision outdoor camera.
Alkivision camera not charging?
- Please ensure, the connected USB cable is working and the power cord is plugged into an electric outlet.
- If all is working fine, please restart your camera by disconnecting it from the power source.
- Reset your camera and try to charge again. If still not working well, maybe batteries will damage. Order a new battery.
Is motion detection not working on Adorcam?
Check the camera setting and verify that motion detection is enabled.
- To get full control of the camera using the Adorcam app. You must need to enable the permission of the app.
- Adjust the motion sensitivity in settings. Please check the feature will also enable on the camera. By chance, the app also creates these kinds of bugs. Reopen the app after closing it properly.
- Delete the Adorcam app and reinstall it from the play store. It will also fix your camera motion detection not working issue.
